Mayans Claim; 2012 will be the “Best Year” for DIY Solar.
Okay - So the Mayans never mentioned DIY Solar, but I bet they would have made that claim if they had discovered DIY Solar. It’s my guess that Armageddon won’t ruin our 2012 Christmas parties either. Let’s just hope that our way of life doesn’t plunge us into chaos, as a growing number of people are beginning to believe.
Although the economic outlook is grim, my guess is that it’s been blown out of all proportion to sell news and that makes the ‘Fat Cats’ even fatter. I know that 2012 and 2013 is looking pretty bleak for whole sections of society in the US, the UK and much of Europe, but bleak is not armageddon!
If you intend to ride out the financial uncertainty safely, then you should be investing in your future by investing in yourself. What do I mean by that? It very, very simple; Invest in a DIY Solar and/or Wind Energy project which will save you a whole heap of cash starting immediately. A modest investment will put an end to your ever growing power bills. As you save money re-invest into more DIY Solar and Wind Energy resources. DIY Solar Panels for example don’t cost anywhere near the factory turn-key systems, which means the returns will come back quicker and go on growing as fuel and energy prices keep on climbing.
Why not invest some time, effort and money into DIY Solar and Wind Energy, start saving money straight away. Yes that’s right - from the minute you turn on a DIY Solar or Wind Energy system you will start saving money. Save more and more money every year while the Big Power Companies keep on putting the price up. You already know what I’m saying is true don’t you, about the cost of electricity? Perhaps you don’t know how easy and cost effective it could be to make your own DIY Solar Panels and/or Wind Genrator.

DIY Solar Could Have a Huge Impact on Your Power Bill.
You might be surprised to learn how most US homes use their electricity, of course there will always be some differences depending on your location – Which Country, State or County that you live in. Using a US example; A New York home won’t have the same demand for air conditioning as say, a home in Florida, while a home in Florida won’t have the demand for heating that a home in New York will have. The chart below gives a pretty good overall view of how the average home owner uses their electricity.
It’s a good idea to look at a ‘Do-it-Yourself’ green energy project like DIY Solar or Wind Energy as a serious investment policy. Trust me there aren’t many investments that will give you the return that you can expect from DIY Solar for instance.
In many areas there are Government incentives to encourage individuals to go for micro-generation and DIY Solar is high on the list.
The Government in the UK haven’t unfortunately incentivised the ‘Do-it-Yourself’ micro-generation schemes like DIY Solar, DIY Wind Energy, heat pumps, Geothermal or any other ‘Do-it-Yourself’ system. However other parts of the world have really gone all out for it – The US, Canada and Australia to name but a few places.
DIY Solar – As a way of life.
Just do a quick ‘Google’ search for ‘living off the grid’ and you’ll soon see that DIY Solar and DIY Wind Generation systems have been the only way of life for a long time.
